This depends on your pet’s size, temperament, age and more.
If you’re looking for a baby cat, for example, the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) suggests a cat-based, milk-based bath.
For smaller cats, a baby-focused bath might be more appropriate.
For larger cats, there are several options.
You can use a bath that uses a cat food, water, cat food pellets and cat food for the first four weeks of a kitten’s life.
You might also consider a cat bed or crib.
Then, after a few weeks of that, you can move to a bath with a cat’s own food.
A kitten’s first bath is usually the most important.
If you’ve got an older cat, you might want to look into a cat shower, a cat toilet or cat crate.
If your cat isn’t big, you could try a cat crate, or if you’re older, consider a kitten bath.
If neither of those work for your cat, consider having a kitten for a couple of weeks.
Once your cat has learned how to use the bath, it might take some time for your cats to bond with one another, so it’s worth the wait.
